As previously communicated, we have been running a comprehensive price analysis to ensure maximum conversion and GMV across our full product mix.
Further to our previous update, we’re pleased to announce that price changes to our short course upgrades will go live on November 4th.
These changes will include a simpler pricing structure with less variants.
Upgrades will now be priced at:
- £39 for a 1-3 week course
- £59 or £79 for 4+ week course
The changes reflect the positive results we found from our analysis. Overall, following a reduction in the price of 25% or 50% for Upgrades, we found an increase in revenue. Upgrade revenue was up 64% year on year for the last quarter (June - August). During the months of the experiment, in July, Upgrade revenue was up 82% and in August up 53%.
We now know that a reduction in price benefits both learners and partners alike.
Next steps
We have created assets to promote the new pricing on November 4th, showing our learners they can now get more for their money. We will also be introducing product optimisations to help increase the ability to communicate clear prices to the learners.
