FutureLearn offers two reporting tools: the Stats Dashboard and Looker. These have different uses which are outlined below.
What is the Stats Dashboard?
The Stats dashboard collects detailed information about learner enrolments, unenrolments and progress through a course run. It is accessible by anyone with Organisation Admin permissions in Course Creator, and anyone with the Author or Co-creator permission in that course run.
When should I use the Stats Dashboard?
Use the Stats Dashboard when you need to collect in-depth data for a single run of the course.
The Stats Dashboard only collects data for the specific run you are looking at. It will not show you data for every run of the same course.
What is Looker?
Looker is a business intelligence app owned by Google. It can show you high-level data about all of your courses as far back as 2017, including much of the data that's available in the Stats Dashboard.
Every FutureLearn partner has access to an overview dashboard, which is available to one nominated user.
When should I use Looker?
Use Looker to view information about all of your courses, or every run of one course.
If you need information that is not available in the dashboard, contact partnersupport@futurelearn.com allowing at least two weeks for your request to be actioned.
