Learners can see the Peer Graded Assignment steps on the step list of an activity.
Submitting an assignment
The Peer Graded Assignment step should be visible on the list of steps under the ‘ASSIGNMENT’ label. Selecting it should lead to a page requiring Learner input: the title of the submission and the responses which might differ in length and type (including file upload).
Once submitted, the Learner has a choice of either viewing the submitted assignment or editing it. Editing the assignment is possible only for 10 minutes after the last submission was made.
Each Learner has to make up to three reviews of other users’ submissions. The Learner is assigned submissions from the top of the queue, which is ordered based on multiple criteria including time submitted and number of reviews already received.
The process of reviewing can be started by selecting the step with the PEER GRADE label. It is possible that there will be no assignments ready for peer grading at that moment. In such a case, the step can be skipped. The submission is assigned to the Learner’s account only after the review process has begun (that is after the ‘Start’ button was selected). For each prompt the submission author had to fill in, the Learner will have at least two ratings with different grades available. The Learner should select the one they feel is closest to the actual response.
